Abstract

The embodiment of the invention provides a message sending method and equipment. The method is applied to a communication network comprising a first node, a first routing source and a second routing source; the routing source is a release node of an address prefix, and routing information with a destination address being the address prefix is stored in the first node. Specifically, the method comprises the following steps that a first node sets a next hop of routing information as a next hop from the first node to a first routing source, wherein a destination address of the routing information is an address prefix; when a second routing source is superior to the first routing source, the next hop of the routing information is switched to a next hop from the first node to a second routing source; path information of a forwarding path from the first node to a second routing source is added into a target message according to the switching operation, wherein a destination address of the target message is matched with the address prefix; and then the target message is forwarded to the second routing source through the forwarding path.
