Abstract

The invention relates to a satellite-borne SAR field-free geometric calibration method and system based on symmetric geometric configuration constraint. Compared with the prior art, the defect that a satellite-borne SAR satellite can only realize system error parameter self-calibration under the condition of dependence of ground control data is overcome. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring a symmetric geometric configuration image pair; calculating parameters of the distance Doppler geometric positioning model; establishing a geometric positioning model; performing field-free geometric calibration preparation work; and completing the field-free geometric calibration of the spaceborne SAR.
