Abstract

The present invention relates to a microscope, a device incorporated therein and a method of contacting a component on a rotor thereof, the device comprising a stator for connection to a static component of the microscope, in particular a carrier, and the device comprising a rotor arranged to be rotatable relative to the stator, the rotor having a plurality of mounting sites, the plurality of mounting points are each designed to receive a microscope component, in particular an optical unit component. The device is characterized in that: there is an electrical rotating feedthrough comprising a first portion connected to the stator and a second portion connected to the rotor; forming at least one electrical connection between the stator and the rotor via the electrical rotating feedthrough; an electrical connection is formed on the rotor from the second part of the rotary feed-through to at least one of the mounting points for electrically contacting a microscope component to be arranged in the mounting point.
