The invention relates to an apparatus for identifying and marking cables and devices in an industrial cabinet, said apparatus comprising a plate on which a two-dimensional code is presented, said two-dimensional code representing a number of possible combinations at least equal to 106. The invention also relates to a system for identifying and marking cables in an industrial cabinet, said system comprising: a set of previously defined devices; the reading device can read the two-dimensional code of the equipment; and a processor capable of exchanging data with the reading device, and wherein an electrical scheme of the industrial cabinet is recorded on the processor. The invention also relates to a method for identifying and marking cables and devices in an industrial cabinet using the system as defined above, said method comprising the following steps: installing a device according to any of claims 1 to 4 on a cable device to be connected; reading the two-dimensional code presented on the equipment by using the reading device; the two-dimensional code is associated to an alphanumeric code defined in the electrical scheme.
