The first stacked structure light-emitting element comprises a plurality of light-emitting units and a first charge generation layer located between the light-emitting units. The second stacked structure light-emitting element comprises a plurality of light-emitting units and second charge generation layers located among the light-emitting units. Each of the first charge generation layer and the second charge generation layer is configured from one or more charge generation constituent layers. A first end region of the first charge generation layer and a second end region of the second charge generation layer overlap over a top surface of the element separation layer. And an overlapping region, an end region of a constituent layer of the first stacked structure light-emitting element or the second stacked structure light-emitting element configured to block a charge of any polarity is provided between charge generation constituent layers of the first charge generation layer and the second charge generation layer configured to generate a charge of the same polarity as the charge blocked by the constituent layer.
