The method comprises the steps that when it is detected that a first train breaks down in a fault section, first movement authorization is sent to a second train which is located normally, so that the second train moves towards the fault section at a first running speed according to the first movement authorization; when it is detected that the distance between the second train and the fault section is smaller than or equal to a preset switching distance, the second train is controlled to run at a second running speed, and the first train is detected; when the second train detects the first train, if it is determined that the fault of the first train is repaired, the second train is controlled to stop running, and the second train is made to send first positioning information and the first train distance to the first train; and after the fault positioning information sent by the first train is received, confirming that the positioning of the first train is recovered successfully.
