Abstract

An endless transfer belt is provided, having a reinforced joint without raising the stiffness of the joint. This is achieved in a belt 1 comprising a flat belt 1a consisting of a base member 2, an obverse fibrous layer 3 and a reverse fibrous layer 4 intertwiningly integrated. Joining clips 5 are fixed at both ends of the belt. The parts of the belt to which where the joining clips 5 are fixed are reinforced by impregnating them with resin or spreading them with resin and allowing the resin to infiltrate into the belt. The strength in the reinforced parts is improved without raising the stiffness of the flat belt 1a. Thus, fatigue due to bending of the reinforced parts is decreased, and breakage of the belt is prevented.
