Embodiment Construction

[0048] As shown in its entirety in FIG. 1 , the device comprises a conveyor 10 capable of moving boxes 12 one by one along a predetermined path, at this time between a loading station 14 and an unloading station 16 straight path. These workstations 14 and 16 are respectively arranged upstream and downstream of the conveyor 10 .

[0049]The cassettes 12 are described in detail below, each containing a number of test tubes 18, in this example 10, each containing a blood product, each closed with a stopper 20 (FIG. 2).

[0050] The loading station 14 comprises a horizontal loading platform 22 for accommodating a series of cassettes holding test tubes containing samples to be analyzed. The loading station 14 comprises a forward advancing mechanism, constituted in this embodiment by two pusher blocks 24 capable of moving the boxes one after the other towards the conveyor 10 synchronously in the direction of the arrow F1. These push blocks 24 move synchronously under the effect of...

Abstract

This device for processing a blood product sample included in tubes (18) loaded in cassettes (12) and closed with plugs. The moving means 10 is designed to individually move the cassettes on a predetermined path. The agitating means 30 has at least one pickup mechanism (32) that can be started by a driving means (88), and picks up at least one selected tube from the immobile cassette on the path, moves the tube far from the cassette, agitates the tube and returns it to the cassette. The sampling means (34) is designed to take away a predefined sample quantity from the pre- agitated tube returned to the cassette and applicable to a blood analysis.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a hematology analyzer for automatically analyzing samples of blood products. [0002] In particular, the invention relates to a device for processing samples of blood products contained in a test tube closed by a stopper and contained in a box, which combines a shaking device capable of shaking the test tube with a device capable of collecting at least A sample sampling device is combined. [0003] The device is designed to shake the tubes so that the components contained in the blood product sample mix and then extract a sample having a mixture similar to and representative of the blood product to be analyzed. Background technique [0004] In particular, it is known that US-A-3231244 discloses an automatic device for mixing blood products comprising a drum with slots for the purpose of holding some Test tubes with samples of this blood product. The test tubes are arranged radially with respect to the axis of rotation of the...
