Embodiment 1

[0020] Embodiment 1 (preparation 500g feed)

[0021] Weigh 40g soybean powder, 20g beer yeast powder, 15g wheat bran, cook and sterilize, then weigh 1.5g vitamin C, 0.5g multivitamin B, 1g sorbic acid, and 0.5g paraben. Weigh 9g of agar and add it to 412.5ml of water, heat it over low heat until it dissolves, then add the above-mentioned solid matter, stir it with a homogenizer for 2 minutes, and then pack it into the insect culture tray.

[0022] The prepared feed is colloidal solid, soft, earthy yellow, opaque, and has a feed fragrance.

Embodiment 2

[0023] Embodiment 2 (preparation 1000g feed)

[0024] The method is the same as above, and the specific materials are: 100g soybean powder, 50g beer yeast powder, 30g wheat bran, 2g vitamin C, 2g multivitamin B, 3g sorbic acid, 3g paraben, 20g agar, and 790ml water.

Abstract

The economic and practical artificial feed is suitable for scale feeding of beet noctuids to produce beet noctuids virus pesticide. It is produced by mixing the following materials: soybean powder 7-10 wt%, yeast powder 3-5 wt%, wheat bran 2-5 wt%, agar 1.5-3 wt%, proper amount of supplementary material and water. Feeding beet noctuids with the artificial feed can result in average chrysalis weight of 117.8 mg, eclosion rate of 99 %, high larva livability, normal growth of chrysalis and oviposition amount and egg incubation rate reaching those of natural feed. Being low in cost, practical andsimple in production, the feed of the present invention can meet the requirement of feeding beet noctuids in industrial scale.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to an economical and practical artificial feed for beet armyworm, which is suitable for artificial large-scale breeding of beet armyworm and production of beet armyworm virus insecticide. technical background [0002] Beet armyworm (Spodotera exigua Hübner) is a worldwide distribution of crop pests, and in recent years there is a trend of large-scale damage in my country. Beet armyworm is also a pest with rapid development of drug resistance. Globally, beet armyworm has developed high resistance to a variety of chemical pesticides, and the control effect of biological pesticide Bt on it is not ideal. Therefore, other effective pesticides are sought. The prevention and control methods of the disease have become a topic of concern both at home and abroad. [0003] Studies have shown that the use of beet armyworm nuclear polyhedrosis virus (SeMNPV) to control beet armyworm has the advantages of not polluting the environment, not pro...
