Abstract

The present invention invention relates to a detecting method and detecting device of a magnetic head, which has film components, and a lead connected to the mentioned films components. The detecting method comprises the following processes: a process for grounding a seat located on a base; a process for disconnecting the terminal from said seat from the DCR measurement device; a process for fixing tha said magnetic head on said base, and at the same time connecting the lead detection parat extending fomr the magnetic head with said terminal; a process for separating the seat with the ground after the allotted time; and a process for connecting these terminals with the detection devices to exect the detecion of the design features (DCR) of the film components. The detecting method and detecting device will not burn a MR head when it detects the DC resistance of the MR head, or cuts off the flexible printing substrates or leads.
