Abstract

A leakage protector circuit for electric water heater is used in leakage protection in case of ineffective earthed ground wire. It consists of power polarity detecting and converting circuit, polarity conversion self-locking circuit, leakage protecting relay, leakage detecting comparator circuit and protection executing circuit. The electric supply is input to the leakage protector circuit from the power polarity detecting circuit and made to pass through the said circuits connected successively before being fed to electric water heater. In case of ineffective earthed ground wire, the presentinvention can result in safeguard effect.
