Problems solved by technology

The main problem with this existing structure is that the diameter of the post itself is very small (approximately 0.8 inches (2mm) or less) and if it is then drilled through due to the connecting metal strips, the post becomes very weak and therefore easily breaks , it is also very troublesome and expensive to repair
Also, very small drilled holes necessitate the use of very small diameter strips, which result in strips that are also weak and therefore prone to breakage
Besides that, it is very difficult to remove or replace the ends of the metal strips

Embodiment Construction

[0011] Among Fig. 1, bead jewelry chain 10 strings has a plurality of beads 11, and each bead has a very little through hole of diameter, and common flexible wire 12 just passes through this through hole to form a string of beads. The other end of the jewelry chain 10 is defined by first and second end beads 13, 14 which together form the concealed connector assembly 15 of the present invention.

[0012] An end bead such as the first end bead 13 is provided with through-holes 16 along its diameter, although these through-holes are very small in diameter, for example 2 mm, but are still generally larger than the through-holes of other beads on the string 12. A first solid metal post 17 is inserted into the through hole 16 on the bead 13 . Instead, the post 17 is preferably made of an alloy of a noble metal such as silver or gold. The outer diameter of the post fits well with the inner diameter of the through hole and is generally easily secured with a suitable cement or adhesi...

Abstract

A loop-typed pierced earring has a pivotally mounted ear post that spans the gap in the ring and moves in an arc transverse to the plane of the ring from an open position, to permit insertion through the ear lobe, to a locked position with the ear post free end held in a locking detent in the other end of the ring body. Movement of the ear post end into the locking detent forces a slight inward deflection of the resilient end post, after which the end springs into engagement with a locking recess. Attachment of the earring is simple and direct and requires no visual alignment by the wearer.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a jewelry chain end connector, in particular to a hidden connector used in a beaded jewelry chain strung on a common cord. Background technique [0002] A beaded jewelry chain, such as a string of pearls, is generally formed by stringing beads with holes drilled through them on a common thread or cord. The thread used may be made of any material of suitable strength and flexibility, a single strand of string made of plastic material is commonly used. The use of precious metal clad or precious metal connectors or hooks to join the ends of the rope is often used as a secure but open joint. These connectors and hooks work in different ways, but all have one thing in common, that is, there is a clear gap between the beads at the end of the jewelry chain. [0003] People have developed invisible string connectors, if the beads on the two ends of the string are connected together, this hidden string connector or hook is hardly visi...
