Embodiment Construction

[0023] Referring to FIGS. 1-4 , there is shown an oven dripper of the present invention having two main components, a tube 12 and a bulb 14 . Tube 12 is generally elongate, hollow, and symmetrical about a longitudinal axis, and includes a storage portion 16 , transition section 18 and tip portion 20 . The storage portion 16 includes a first open end 22 and a second end 24 generally tapering therebetween, wherein the first end 22 has a larger diameter than the second end 24 .

[0024] The transition portion 18 extends integrally from the second end 24 of the storage portion 16 and passes through a non-linear (curved) decrease in diameter between the first end 26 and the second end 14 connected to the second end 24 of the storage portion 16. .

[0025] The tip portion 20 extends integrally from the second end 24 of the transition section 18 and tapers generally linearly between a first end 30 connected to the second end 28 of the transition section 18 and a second open end 32 ....

Abstract

An assembly of a dropper (10) and a cleaning brush, comprising: a dropper (10) and a cleaning brush. The dropper (10) includes a tube (16) having a tip (20) at one end and a compressible bulb (42) at the other end. The bubble (42) is detachable from the tube (16). The cleaning brush includes a handle and a stem with bristles extending transversely to the stem. An elongated cleaning probe is sized to fit a tip (20) extending from the end of the handle facing the rod and bristles.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a cooking utensil, namely an oven dropper, in particular to an oven dropper and a cleaning brush. Background technique [0002] One type of cooking appliance that is useful in the kitchen is the oven dripper. This appliance is used to apply liquids to oven grilled and baked foods such as meat and poultry. The liquid is applied periodically during cooking to prevent over-drying of the food, or to add spices. Typically, prior art oven drippers include a larger diameter tube with a smaller diameter tip at one end and a compressible, self-expanding bubble at the other end. As the bubble is compressed, the tip is placed in a reservoir of grease fluid. The pressure on the bubble is released, allowing the bubble to expand spontaneously and draw fluid into the tube. By positioning the tip of the tube over the food to be dripped and compressing the bubble, the fluid is forced out of the tube through the tip and onto the food. [00...
