Embodiment Construction

[0020] Reference is now made to the drawings, wherein like reference numerals designate like or similar elements throughout the different drawings.

[0021] figure 2 is a cross-sectional view schematically showing the structure of a cooking cavity of a microwave oven according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, wherein the upper heater and the middle heater are specially bent to form a desired profile and are respectively installed in the upper and middle upper heaters inside the cooking cavity central heater;

[0022] As shown in the figure, the body of the microwave oven of the present invention has an element chamber 10 accommodating a plurality of elements, such as a magnetron emitting microwaves upward, and a cooking cavity 20 separated from the element chamber 10 and defining a cooking chamber of the microwave oven. Microwaves generated by the magnetron 11 inside the element chamber 10 are emitted throughout the cooking cavity 20 to cook food placed in...

Abstract

A microwave oven, in which upper and middle heaters are respectively provided at upper and middle positions inside the cooking cavity such that a top grill portion of a grilling food support removably laid on a cooking tray is positioned between the two heaters. The oven heats the upper and lower surfaces of food laid on the top grill of the grilling food support at the same time without forcing a user to turn the food during a cooking process. The microwave oven also prevents thermal damage to elements installed at the lower portion inside the cooking cavity, and reduces the production cost of the elements. In the cooking cavity of this oven, the upper heater is installed at a position adjacent to a top wall of the cavity, while the middle heater is installed at a position between the upper heater and the cooking tray. A lower part of the food support is laid on the cooking tray such that the food support is rotated along with the cooking tray and the top grill portion is between the upper and middle heaters (31, 32). During a cooking process, the upper and middle heaters heat the upper and lower surfaces of food laid on the top grill of the grilling food support, at the same time.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates generally to microwave ovens, and more particularly to such microwave ovens, which are provided with heaters in each of the upper and middle portions of the cooking cavity, so that the upper and lower surfaces of food can be heated simultaneously during cooking, while The user is not forced to turn the food over, so the user can quickly and conveniently prepare the desired food. Background technique [0002] A microwave oven is an electrically operated oven that heats and / or cooks food placed in its cooking cavity using high-frequency electromagnetic waves generated by the oscillation of a magnetron installed in the element chamber. That is, during operation of the microwave oven, a magnetron inside the element chamber emits high-frequency electromagnetic waves, so-called "microwaves", to various places in the cooking cavity. Microwaves thus penetrate the food to repeatedly change the arrangement of the molecules of water...
