Problems solved by technology

However, when many branches are prepared in advance, when the number of paths of the normal transmission line is small, branches that are not used in Rake combining are generated, and there is a problem that the use efficiency of the branches is poor.

Embodiment Construction

[0032] Implementation form 1.

[0033] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.

[0034] figure 2 It is a configuration diagram of a receiving device, especially a demodulation device in which one of the demodulation branches possessed by two subscriber units can be used by another subscriber unit. Hereinafter, the subscriber unit (#1) 10a will be described, but the configuration and operation of the subscriber unit (#2) 10b are also the same.

[0035] One user unit 10a includes a route search unit 11a, a plurality of branch units 12-1 to 12-8, and a rake combining unit 13a. Here, the received signal input to the user unit 10a is input to the route search unit 11a, and the route search unit 11a performs route detection based on the received signal. The information of one or more detected paths is delivered to eight branch units 12-1~12-8 respectively, and the branch parts 12-1~12-8 separate and demodulate...

Abstract

A plurality of fingers (12) separately demodulates reception signals of a plurality of paths transmitted from a plurality of terminals. A first rake combining unit (13a) combines a plurality of demodulated signals corresponding to a first transmission terminal from among the signals demodulated by the fingers (12). A second rake combining unit (13b) combines a plurality of demodulated signals corresponding to a second transmission terminal from among the signals demodulated by the fingers (12). A change-over switch (16a) connects a finger (12-8) from among the fingers (12-1 to 12-16) to either of the first rake combining unit 13a and the second rake combining unit (13b) in a switchable manner. Therefore, a plurality of users can use a single finger in a switchable manner.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a multi-user demodulation device, a receiving device, and a multi-channel demodulation method for demodulating a plurality of received signals. Background technique [0002] Conventionally, a RAKE reception method for receiving a spread spectrum signal is known as a communication method capable of obtaining reception characteristics excellent in interference resistance. As an example of the RAKE reception method, there is the RAKE reception method described in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 11-8606. This rake receiving apparatus includes a plurality of branch (finga) units for demodulating each path of a received signal, and the output signals of the plurality of branch units are processed by a rake combining unit. Grams are combined to obtain a demodulated signal. [0003] figure 1 The structure of a rake receiving device in a conventional base station is shown. In the drawing, a subscriber unit (#1) 110...
