Abstract

A scroll compressor is provided to lower sliding friction loss of a main shaft without damaging the reliability of a crank shaft, and improve the compression efficiency. A rotary driving shaft(6) includes a main shaft(61) coaxially arranged in a motor chamber(MC), and a crank shaft(62) formed on one end of the main shaft for rotating a rotary scroll(42) in a compression chamber(CC). The crank shaft is arranged to satisfy e is bigger than (Dm-Dc) / 2, wherein Dm indicates a diameter of the main shaft, and Dc indicates a diameter of the crank shaft. A joint shaft connects the main shaft with the crank shaft in length corresponding to a process relief when the main shaft and the crank shaft are processed in accuracy required for a sliding bearing function of the main shaft to a main bearing of a main frame, and for a sliding bearing function of the crank shaft to a crank bearing of the rotary scroll.
