Embodiment Construction
[0025] A wind power plant for harvesting energy mainly comprises an impeller 4 with blades 3 fixed on a shaft 2 through axial flow and a guide device 5 for accelerating the air flow passing through the impeller 4 . The guiding device 5 consists of a plurality of flow channels 6 which taper in the direction of flow. These flow channels 6 with their guides 5 are distributed in a rim-shaped manner around the shaft 2 on the impeller 4 in order to be able to utilize the airflow over the entire oncoming cross-section of the impeller 4 . The impellers 3 are respectively arranged behind the flow channels 6, and the impellers 4 have a housing 7 surrounding them. This housing has the shape of an annular nozzle, whereby the wind pressure upstream of the impeller 4 can be increased. The same rim-shaped guiding device 5 also improves the wind stagnation pressure, and an auxiliary impeller 18 mounted on an auxiliary shaft not specifically drawn and having the same axial flow as the impelle...
