This invention relates to a chitin-soap. It contains chitin or its water-soluble derivatives or their mixture 0.05-12wt.%. The said water-soluble derivatives are carboxylated chitin, sulfated chitin, and their quaternates. It has less stimulation to skin, good comprehensive cleaning ability, holds water content under skin effectively, and prolongs skin senile. It does not make skin too dry after washing with it, and can have complexation with heavy metal ions on skin surface to prevent from radiation.
