Abstract

Bus type topological structure, where master unit as gateway and slave units as each type of electrical household appliances are connected through power line, is adopted in the invention. Master unit and slave units are in modular structure. Master-slave dialogue mode combined with bus token mode is adopted as mode of medium access control in the invention. When master unit is busy, the master-slave dialogue mode is used, and when master unit is idle, bus token mode is used. The mode of medium access control in the invention solves transmission collision problem in system. Advantages are: taking full advantage of existed resources of lines, no need of rewiring, cheapness and convenience.
