Benefits of technology

"The present invention is a modular kayak that can be easily assembled, stored, and transported. The kayak is made up of several main parts that can be connected together to form different configurations. The main parts are a bow, a central section, and a stem. Each part has a geometrical form that conforms to the other parts to ensure a secure and efficient connection. The kayak is designed to be easily assembled and disassembled, with all parts fitting into a compact package that can be carried by hand or on a shoulder. The kayak is made of a thin shell made of materials suitable for marine sport products, such as metals or plastics, and can be easily stored and transported. The kayak is also designed to be easily assembled and disassembled, with all parts fitting into a compact package that can be carried by hand or on a shoulder. The main parts have a geometrical form that conforms to the other parts to ensure a secure and efficient connection. The kayak is designed to be easily assembled, disassembled, and transported."

Problems solved by technology

In this kayak, the kayaker sits inside the kayak casing, and there is a risk of incoming water sinking the kayak, therefore, in many kayaks, there is a sheet sealing the gap between the kayaker's body and the casing.

Abstract

A modular kayak including several main parts which are designed and manufactured so that their external form grants the modular kayak superior kayaking performance and enables their assembly into a single compact package, which can fit into the trunk of a regular family car and be easily carried by hand, over the shoulder, or on the back.

Description

FIELD AND BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION[0001]The present invention relates to kayaks and, in particular to modular kayaks.[0002]Kayaks and other small boats that can be assembled from separate sections are well known it the art.[0003]A foldable kayak is described in U.S. Pat. No. 4,057,865 of Trautwein, filed on Jun. 30, 1976. Trautwein taught a rigid bottom foldable on a central transverse hinge that has a removable tubular skeleton frame at each end supporting the skin. A pneumatic tubular member carried by the bottom sections serves to expand and tightly support the skin in use, thereby retaining the frame in assembled relation to the bottom FIG. 1a is a side view of the kayak 400 according to Trautwein. FIG. 1b is a section taken on line a-a of FIG. 1a. The illustration shows a tube 1 that needs to be inflated prior to use of the kayak and be deflated prior to folding the kayak.[0004]Another foldable boat with light weight hull construction system is described in U.S. Pat. No. 6,6...
