FIELD OF THE INVENTION[0001]The present invention relates generally to combined gun cleaning and tool kits used by individuals such as members of the armed services, and in particular to providing an individual readiness system that facilitates gun cleaning, emergency egress route clearing, and equipment maintenance and repairs by members of military and other personnel working in a field training or combat environment.BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION[0002]Members of military and other personnel working in a field training or combat environment need to be able to regularly and efficiently clean their weapons, e.g., M-16 assault rifles.
