The towed snowplow is detachably attached to a towing engine 21. In the embodiment shown, the towing engine 21 is a semi-trailer truck, or truck tractor, having an articulated trailer coupling 23, such as fifth wheel coupling (horse-shoe shaped coupling device), for receiving a semi-trailer and pulling same.
