[0015]The discussion below describes implementations of a liquid-level transmitter device (“transmitter device”) for use to monitor levels of a liquid in vessels (e.g., pipes, tanks, reservoirs, etc.) in an industrial process line. At a high level, the transmitter device has a buoyant member that moves in response to changes in the level of the liquid in the vessel. The transmitter device can translate the movement into a measured value that reflects the level of the liquid. As noted more below, liquid-level transmitter devices made in accordance with this disclosure offer built-in compensation to improve the accuracy of the measured value.
