This invention relates to the field of electromagnetic gun technology and discloses a multifunctional electromagnetic gun for firing
tranquilizer darts, comprising a gun
mount, an
electromagnetic coil, a
tranquilizer dart, and a propulsion
assembly. The
electromagnetic coil includes a first coil and a second coil fixedly connected to the top of the gun
mount and horizontally arranged. The
tranquilizer dart is installed inside the first coil, and the propulsion
assembly slides through the second coil. The tranquilizer dart includes a hollow shell, a needle, a check plug, and a
piston. The needle is fixedly connected to one end of the hollow shell, and the check plug is fixedly connected to the end away from the needle. The
piston slides inside the hollow shell, and the
piston and needle are filled with
anesthetic. In this invention, the first and second coils, coaxially arranged and with the same magnetic direction, form a dual
electromagnetic drive structure. After being energized, they can simultaneously generate electromagnetic thrust on the tranquilizer dart and the propulsion
assembly, significantly increasing the initial velocity and
kinetic energy of the tranquilizer dart and effectively extending the effective range of the device.
