[0081] Table 1 shows SMC formulations using epoxidized linseed oil, octyl epoxy resinate, and mixtures thereof. All values in Table 1 are parts by weight. In the preparation of the SMC, 72% of the composition was mixed with 28% by weight of PPG 5509 glass fibers. The B-side consists of 29.90% LP-90; 12.80% Styrene; 9.90% Maglite D; 0.50% CM-2015; and 46.90% Hubercarb W4. Table 2 shows the surface waviness index of the molded panels measured by the Diffracto D-sight measuring station. The 50:50 mixed epoxy compound had a smoother surface than either the single epoxy compound or the epoxy compound mixed in other proportions.
