It is assumed that a base station transmits a signal which cannot be satisfactorily received at the intended receiving device, such as a mobile station of a cellular communication system. Thus, signals received by the MSU are relayed from the MSU 101 to the RU 103 on the wireline 105 . In some cases, the wired lines are relatively long. For example, if MSU 101 is on top of a relatively tall building (with over 40 floors), and RU 103 is on the lowest floor, the wired line between MSU 101 and RU 103 can be hundreds of meters long.
