Embodiment Construction

[0031] figure 1 is a cross-sectional view showing the sliding door 1 in the closed position partially overlapping the receiving end 9 of the wall member 10 so as to form a gap 11 comprising a seal along its length which is formed by an inflated It is formed of elastic material 4 and elastic material 5. A door locking element 2 is connected to the door 1 at the side engaging the receiving end of the wall part, said door locking element locking on a locking element 3 on the wall part, thereby limiting the slot width of the slot 11 to a maximum width. The wall part locking element 3 is a simple ridge attached to the wall part 10 which allows the hook to move in one direction but not the other, thus limiting the slot width to a maximum slot width on the rear side. The wall is provided with a front side wall part 13 to form a hollow double wall, creating a front side gap 12 which is also sealed by the expansion and elastic strips 5 . The frame 6 is arranged against the elastic se...

Abstract

The invention relates to provided a fireproof sliding door assembly for a fire protection wall, comprising a wall part and a sliding door wherein the wall part has a receiving edge for receiving the sliding door in an open position of the door, wherein the door is positioned at a front side of the wall part where fire is expected, overlapping the receiving edge of the wall part forming a gap, which gap has, in a closed-door position, a sealing along the length of the gap which on exposure to fire seals the gap and which door comprises a door locking element that, at least in a closed-door position, locks to a wall part locking element on the wall part limiting the gap width to a maximum width. The fire protection wall provides better protection against leakage of smoke through the gaps during deformation of the fire protection wall on exposure to fire at the front side.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a fire-resistant sliding door assembly for a fire-resistant wall, comprising a wall part comprising a receiving edge for receiving the sliding door in the open position of the door, and a sliding door, the door being arranged on the front side of the wall part where fire may be present , overlapping the receiving edges of the wall members to form a gap which in the closed position includes a seal along the length of the gap which seals the gap when exposed to fire. The invention also relates to a fire protection wall comprising a fire protection sliding door assembly, and to a rail vehicle comprising said fire protection wall. Background technique [0002] In all compartments, fire protection is a very important issue, especially in compartments where people cannot escape from fire, such as in compartments of transportation systems. For example, in a train compartment, a fire wall is required to protect passengers or drivers o...
