A separation structure of air-cooled heat exchanger used for air conditioner / machine is comprised by upper collection tube and lower collection tube, and connection tube and connecting tube which are parallel arranged between the upper and lower collection tubes, wherein the connection tubes are no less than two, wherein two of which are arranged at two ends of the lower collection tube, and the upper collection tube is directly connected to the lower collection tube; the upper end of the connecting tube is directly connected to the upper collection tube, and the lower end thereof is connected to the lower collection tube and extends into the liquid in the lower collection tube. In heating operating mode, working substance in vapor / liquid phases enters into the lower collection tube, and because the tube caliber is large, the gravity lamination effect is enough to laminate the vapor and the liquid. The connection tube connects the vapor phase at two ends of the lower collection tube, and keeps stabilization for two-end pressure in the collection tube and liquid level. Because the lower end of the connecting tube extends to a position below the liquid level in the lower collection tube, then the liquid directly flows to the upper collection tube via the connecting tube as to realize automatic separation.
