[0002] The present invention relates to pharmaceutical compositions containing motilin-like peptides. More specifically, the present invention relates to pharmaceutical compositions containing motilin-like peptides that remain stable and retain their potency and binding affinity after prolonged storage. Background of the invention [0003] Motilin peptide is a linear polypeptide hormone of the gastrointestinal tract that stimulates the motility activity of the mammalian gastrointestinal tract. Motilin enhances gastric motility by modulating interdigestive myoelectric complexes.
