Embodiment Construction

[0021] like figure 1 As shown, the blade is transported in a container 1 which can be moved by any suitable tensioning means (not shown). In the preferred embodiment presented, the front part 2 of the container has moved around a bend 4 in the road 5 while the rear part 3 of the container has not passed the bend 4 . The position of the container 1 and the sloping topography in which the road 5 lies leads to a twist, which is shown in the figure by a plane representing two rectangular sections 6 in the area close to the rear 3 of the container.

[0022] figure 2 Among them, the wall 7 and the bottom plate 8 form a void, in which a bracket 9 is arranged to support the blade 10 on several intermediate points of the container. Each support 9 is placed on the corresponding floor 8 of the container, according to whether it is arranged in the upper part (8" and 9"), the middle part (8' and 9') or the bottom part (8 and 9). The connection between each bracket 9 , 9 ′, 9 ″ and the ...

Abstract

Support which absorbs the torsion to which blades are subjected during transport, comprising a set of pins (17) inserted in the floor (8) of the container (1) and to the sides of a hollow pipe (21), which connect by means of a clevis (18) to different rods (19) secured with fastening pins (20) that facilitate the lengthways and angular rotation of the unit. The first support is located at a distance "d" from the leading edge of the cradle (9), next to the platform (16) formed between the ribs (15) which run through the lower shell (14). The second support is located on the other side of the platform (16) also inserted between the aforementioned ribs (15). Both supports are inclined at an angle ± in relation to the floor (8), each forming articulated quadrilaterals.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a support for use in a container for transporting wind turbine blades. This support makes it possible to absorb the stresses to which the blade may be subjected in a critical moment. Background technique [0002] The applicant of the present invention has a prior patent which provides a container formed of a modular structure which can be adjusted to suit the length of blades to be assembled for different types of wind turbines. Thus, patent WO200605393 presents a structure consisting of a set of brackets and rods connected together to form a container interior in which at least three blades can be arranged in a horizontal position. Some brackets allow the weight to be supported at some intermediate point on the blade. [0003] Today, however, the increasing length of current blades and of new wind turbines capable of generating greater power levels presents a serious problem for transporting said blades. Further stresses ar...
