Abstract

The invention provides a virtual keyboard device which comprises a processing unit, a projection unit and a sensing unit. The projection unit is an LED backlight module, particularly an LED backlight module provided with a plurality of LEDs which are arranged in array, every three adjacent LEDs are distributed equidistantly and every LED is provided with a light guide plate taking the shape of anequilateral hexagon. Therefore, in a unit area, the LED number of the virtual keyboard device is reduced, and the LEDs are matched with the light guide plate of the structure, thus rendering the light much evener and fulfilling the same effect in the prior art which adopts lots of LEDs. Heat generated is less due to the decrease of light sources and the distance between LEDs are larger, and therefore the generated heat is easier to dissipate and the service life of the LEDs is prolonged.
