Embodiment Construction

[0021] Here, refer to figure 1 Present a description of a method of harvesting the Archimedean lift, ie, hydrostatic and water pressure, and redirecting it to generate electricity. In principle, an object submerged in water is subject to a vertically upward Archimedean lift and a vertically downward force of its own weight. In order for such an item to float to the surface, its gravity must be less than the lift. Preferably, the sinking item is in the form of an air-filled sphere, since that has the lowest gravity.

[0022] In the submerged state, the sphere is subjected to an Archimedean lift corresponding to its volume, which produces a force F acting on the sphere in order to float it to the surface. When a sphere is submerged in water, the sphere is also subjected to water pressure acting on its surface, and this pressure is proportional to the distance from the sphere to the surface of the water. The deeper the sphere sinks, the higher the pressure, and thus the greate...

Abstract

The present invention relates to a method of generating electricity by utilizing the lifting force of the water. The method comprises of the steps of submerging and anchoring an air filled sphere (1 ) under the water, wherein the Archimedean lifting force combine with water pressure to form an upwardly vertical force (F). The said force is imparted by a rotating shaft (2) to unit M spaced from the water surface at an appropriate distance. Force F is converted to the horizontal rotating force (Fl and F2) and is transmitted to a turbine of the electric generator (8). The present invention also relates to a device using the method. The device includes a flexible hollow sphere (1) connected to a rotating shaft (2). One end of the rotating shaft is a part of unit M which includes a plurality of bevel gears (M 1 , M2, M I) meshed with each other. At unit M, the upwardly vertical force (F) is collected and transferred into the horizontal rotating forces, due to a system with horizontal rotating shafts and a driven rod, which are transmitted into a turbine of an electric generator (8). Unit M1 the system of the rotating shafts, and the electric generator are arranged on a platform (10) spaced from the surface of the water.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to power generation, in particular to a method for generating electricity by utilizing the lift force of water, and equipment for realizing the method. Background technique [0002] Heretofore, various energy sources such as thermal power, hydropower and nuclear power are widely known and used. Since mineral resources are being depleted, construction of hydropower equipment is very expensive and causes damage to the environment, residents, and nuclear reactors have a high risk of accidents, it is necessary to find and use clean energy sources such as wind power, solar power or tidal power. However, the development of clean energy sources is not commensurate with their potential for many different reasons, such as wind variation, heat distribution, time periods, and insufficient funding. Contents of the invention [0003] The application of hydrostatic pressure to the motion of water was known before the discovery of Archimedes'...
