Embodiment Construction

[0042] The measurements (Table II) of mixtures 312, 349, 357, 363, 307 and 206 (which were optimized compared to the mixture without TCD) listed in Table I below show that with increasing TCD content, the The ratio of bending strength / shrinking tension also increases. When the percentage of TCD is greater than 10%, the above ratio of the obtained composite material is higher than 50.

Abstract

The present invention relates to a dental composite material which is provided with low shrinking tension and high flexural strength. The total content of filling agent in the composite material is 70-95% by weight, and furthermore the composite material comprises the following components: A) non-agglomerated nanometer filling agent which accounts for 0.5-10% by weight in the component of the filler with particle sizes of 1 to 50nm; B) filler mixture which accounts for at least 60% by weight and is composed of 50-90% of coarse-particle dental glass and 10-50% of fine-particle dental glass, and the ratio of d50 value of the fine particle to that of the coarse particle is 1:4 to 1:30; C) a monomer compound which is composed of 60-80% by weight of bis-GMA and TCD-di-HEMA or bis-GMA and TCD-di-HEA, 10-18% of UDMA, and the balance of TEDMA and / or multifunctional crosslinking agents, D) an initiator which is 1% by weight at most; and E) at least one other dental glass which can optionally exist in the filler component. The dental composite material is characterized in that the TCD monomer accounts for 1-15% by weight in the total composition. The ratio of flexural strength to shrinking tension is larger than or equal to 35.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to dental composites having low shrinkage tension and high flexural strength. Background technique [0002] Acrylate / methacrylate-based photocurable materials undergo volume shrinkage during radical polymerization due to the shortening of the intermolecular distance during polymerization and the simultaneous increase in density. This can be significantly reduced by adding inorganic fillers (for example, dental glass or pyrogenic silicic acid), since the addition of fillers reduces the proportion of monomers per unit volume of material and the fillers do not shrink during polymerization . [0003] In dental applications, shrinkage of the volume is clinically important because the shrinkage of the material imparts tension to the cavity walls. When the contraction force exceeds a maximum value, in extreme cases, this contraction force can cause the material to detach from the cavity wall. Bacteria can invade the resulting ...
