Embodiment Construction

[0019] Refer to attached picture. The invention relates to a method for reconstructing a three-dimensional model with full teeth based on CT data of a plaster dental model and panoramic films of dentition. The digitization of the plaster dental cast is realized by scanning the plaster dental cast with cone beam CT (CBCT), and the result of the cone beam CT scan is a sequence of tomographic images. figure 2 It is a panoramic perspective view of the oral dentition, which includes the two-dimensional shape of the root, combined with the CT information of the plaster dental model, to reconstruct the three-dimensional model of the whole tooth.

[0020] The three-dimensional coordinate system used in the present invention is a right-handed coordinate system, which is defined as follows:

[0021] The positive direction of the x-axis: the plane of the tooth contour curve ( Figure 3a , Figure 3b plane) from left to right;

[0022] The positive direction of the y-axis: the plane ...

Abstract

The invention provides a method for reconstructing a three-dimensional model of an entire tooth through the CT data of a plaster model of jaw and the panoramic drawing of the jaw. The method adopts the following steps: a cone beam CT (CBCT) specially used for the oral cavity is used for scanning the plaster model of the jaw to obtain the CT data of the plaster model of the jaw; three-dimensional reconstruction is performed to the CT data of the plaster model of the jaw to obtain the three-dimensional geometric model of the jaw; the three-dimensional geometric model of the jaw is extracted; the information on the side contour of the tooth is extracted and the three-dimensional geometric model of the radix dentis is generated in combination with the model of the corona dentis; and the three-dimensional model of the entire tooth is formed by combining the three-dimensional geometric models of the corona dentis and the radix dentis. The invention has the advantages that the three-dimensional geometric digit model of the entire tooth can be generated on the basis of the two-dimensional information of the side contour of the tooth on the panoramic drawing and according to the three-dimensional geometric information of the corona dentis part in the CT data. The method can be applied to every tooth in the panoramic drawing to generate the jaw model with accurate dentition, and can be applied to orthodontics and computer simulated tooth arrangement.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a method for reconstructing a whole tooth from CT data of a gypsum model of a tooth and a panoramic perspective view of a tooth. Background technique [0002] The jaw model truly records the upper and lower teeth, dental arch, base bone, transitional folds, palatal arch, and lip frenulum, and can accurately reflect the shape, size, and arrangement of the patient's teeth, alveolar bone, and upper and lower jaws. The occlusal relationship of teeth is an important condition for orthodontics to explore malocclusion factors, aid in diagnosis design, and formulate treatment plans. It is also an indispensable legal evidence for comparing changes in teeth and dental arches before and after treatment. There are two ways to obtain CT scan data of teeth and jaws, one is to use CT to directly scan the living body; the other is to use CT to scan plaster dental models. Although the method of directly scanning the living body with CT is simp...
