A measuring device 11 is connected to the output port 10 by means of an input flange 13 which leads via an input port 14 to a chamber 15 arranged inside the measuring device 11. Abstract

The method involves monitoring the liquid quantity in a liquid supply unit (1) by measuring of the liquid level (23) by sequence control unit. The measurement of the liquid level takes place via a device (11), which detects the availability of liquid at the outlet of the printing device (5). The detection of the liquid (22) takes place by a capacitive measuring method. The measuring method takes place via a capacitive sensor (12). The capacitive method includes the production technology size of the liquid level and changes into a further-processable condition. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a liquid supply unit for execution of the method for printing machine (2) a measuring device for the liquid supply unit, where a part of the measuring device consists of printed circuit board material.
