Abstract

The invention provides a drug which can effectively improve production performance of livestock and poultry, the drug efficacy ingredients are prepared by raw materials with the following parts by weight: 150-250 parts of radix codonopsitis, 150-250 parts of largehead atractylodes rhizome, 150-200 parts of swordlike atractylodes rhizome, 150-200 parts of hawthorn fruit, 100-200 parts of tangerine peel and 50-150 parts of areca seed. The drug can be prepared in various formulations with pharmaceutical acceptab le carriers, such as powder, oral liquor, tablets, capsules, granules, and the like. The drug has the effects of benefiting qi, strengthening spleen, removing dampness, regulating qi, promoting appetite, promoting digestion, removing food stagnation and regulating yin and yang. The drug is used for preventing and treating listlessness, decreased production performance, and the like of chickens and pigs caused by weakness of spleen and stomach, eating less, loose stool, weakness of four limbs, anemia, pale white tongue, and the like.
