Abstract

The invention relates to a process for introducing a potting composition into a filter apparatus, wherein potting caps are placed on for the purpose of producing the potting composition and wherein the potting composition is distributed from a potting chamber via the potting caps to the ends of the filter apparatus. According to the invention, the potting composition is passed proceeding from thepotting chamber into a projection of the particular potting cap which projects in a rotationally symmetrically free manner, whence it penetrates into the casing through appropriate slots in the potting cap. The invention further relates to an apparatus for introducing the potting composition into a filter apparatus.
