Abstract

The present invention provides a boiler water cycle of a fluidized bed boiler and a fluidized bed boiler, preferably a supercritical once-through-unit (OTU) boiler with a boiler water cycle, comprising a drop leg and a number of horizontal inlet headers, substantially of the length of the front wall of the boiler furnace, arranged below the furnace of the fluidized bed boiler, the inner diameter of the inlet headers being preferably at least 200 mm, whereby the extensions of the water tubes in the front wall and the rear wall of the furnace are connected directly to said inlet headers and each of the inlet headers is in flow communication with the drop leg only through an inlet duct connected to the end of the inlet header.
