Abstract

The invention provides a method for inquiring the detonator in the priming circuit of an electronic detonator. The method comprises a detonator inquiring process of a priming device on one hand and an inquiring process of the electronic detonator on the other hand. Firstly, the priming device carries out roll-calling process: that is, sending a roll-calling instruction to a detonator which is not roll-called; waiting for receiving roll-calling response information sent back by the detonator; and placing a roll-calling completion marker if the roll-calling response information is received, or adding the information to an un-responded detonator information list if the roll-calling response information is not received. Next, the priming device carries out novelty searching process after the external confirmation information is received, and the process comprises the following steps: sending instructions for examining a new detonator to all the electronic detonators; and displaying the new detonator existing information after the information is received and finishing, or finishing directly if the information is not received.
