Benefits of technology

The technical purpose described in this patented technology relating to combining colors and lights together has been developed through various means like filters, lenses, windows, etc., which makes it possible to save up space while still being able to capture images containing both colored and non-colored objects simultanously. Additionally, when imagery taken under specific conditions includes reflected sunlight and transmitting infrared rays, these techniques help identify contaminants more efficiently than traditional approaches.

Problems solved by technology

This patented technical solution described by this patents involves removing unwanted materials like lint or debris from cotton during manufacturing processes. However, current methods often result in poorly detectable signals caused by factors like dirtiness or impurity particles mixed into the raw cotton being processed. Additionally, there may exist issues related to identifying nontransparent foreign substances called pigments because these colors could lead to false alarms if combined together.

Abstract

Apparatus in a spinning room preparation, ginning or the like installation for detection of foreign matter in fibre material, having a presentation channel in which foreign matter can be detected by at least two successively arranged sensor arrangements, and having a pneumatic conveying means for passing the fibre material through the presentation channel, wherein: a first said sensor arrangement comprises a first detector device having at least one electronic camera having a colour sensor system and another detector device operated in UV arrange. it is an aim of the invention to provide an apparatus that can be incorporated in space-saving manner in a production line by means that are simple in terms of construction, and that permits effective detection of white and/or transparent plastics and also coloured foreign matter. When another detector device is present, the foreign objects are arranged to be illuminated by means of a source of ultraviolet light, and the foreign objects are arranged to be transilluminated by means of a source for polarised light; and the polarised light and light reflected as a consequence of UV irradiation are jointly recordable by the another detector device.
