Problems solved by technology

[0004] Taking the annual runoff of the upper reaches of the Yangtze River Basin in 1954 (the year with the largest annual runoff among the 119 years with historical records of hydrological data) as an example, the annual runoff was 575.1 billion cubic meters. Flow 20000m 3 Calculated per second, the annual water consumption for power generation is 630 billion cubic meters. The difference between the two shows that there is still a gap of more than 50 billion cubic meters in the water consumption for power generation in the year; if the power generation does not use dead water, the gap will be even greater

Embodiment Construction

[0025] In this embodiment, N-level reservoirs are planned for the watershed, and the layout of 1-level to N-level reservoirs is shown in figure 1 . The design parameters of the N-4 level reservoir in this basin are as follows: the normal storage level is 2800 meters, the flood level is 2801 meters, and the check flood level is It is 2803 meters, the dead water level is 2700 meters, and the sedimentation water level It is 2480 meters. Controlled by the influence of the hydraulic head variation in design of the turbine design, the unused stagnant water volume of the hydropower station supporting the N-4 reservoir is 5 billion m 3 (Wherein the stagnant water volume V1=3.6 billion m between 2600-2700 meters 3 , the amount of dead water V2 between 2500-2600 meters = 1.4 billion m 3 )(See figure 2 ). The power generation diversion system and flood discharge tunnel of the N-4 reservoir are arranged on the right bank, and a diversion tunnel is arranged on the left and ri...

Abstract

The invention relates to a method for power generation by developing and utilizing the dead water quantity of a water reservoir, which comprises the following steps: (1) from an Nth level of water reservoir to a 2nd level of water reservoir in a drainage area, selecting at least one water reservoir between a designed dead water level and a designed silting water level, arranging at least one water passage which leads the dead water quantity of the water reservoir to a downstream water reservoir; (2) arranging a working strobe and a repair strobe which are opened and closed independently in each water passage respectively, or a common repair strobe; and (3) utilizing the dead water quantity from an upstream water reservoir to carry out power generation by a hydroelectric power station which is matched with the downstream water reservoir. The water reservoirs at all levels also can be provided with the corresponding hydroelectric power stations, and the dead water quantity in the water reservoir at this level is utilized to carry out power generation. The dead water quantity of the water reservoir is developed and utilized to carry out the power generation, which not only can increase the power generation capacity and obtain cheap electric energy but also is beneficial to flood prevention and disaster reduction.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of hydropower and water conservancy engineering, and in particular relates to the development and utilization of dead water in reservoirs. Background technique [0002] The design dead water level of the reservoir is also called the power generation dead water level, and the water volume below the dead water level is called the dead water volume. Since the hydropower station at the same level of the reservoir uses the dead water of the reservoir to generate electricity, it will damage the related facilities and equipment of the power station. Therefore, since the date when the test operation conditions for hydropower generation are met, the dead water has been discarded between the dead water level and the bottom of the reservoir. The amount of dead water has always been just a concept in textbooks. In the design of hydropower stations, it will not and cannot be included in the use of dead water, and there is no funct...
