Abstract

The invention relates to a novel method for capturing an IIS error report, which is characterized by comprising the steps of component installation (shown in figure 1), MSSQLSERVER installation, Internet information service (IIS) manager setting, client ASP calling and error management (shown in figure 6). The invention solves the technical problem by adopting the following technical scheme: the default error report of IIS is redirected to a newly developed IIS error capturing program which can capture the detailed description of the IIS error, and the error information is saved in an assigneddatabase, so that developers can analyze the IIS error log of the program at any time. The invention has the advantages of monitoring the IIS error report, discovering the program BUG in time, and improving the program to provide Internet services with higher quality for users.
