The disclosed method for realizing electronic wallet / electronic passbook transaction includes the following steps: an integrated circuit IC card readstransaction amount from a received electronic passbook / electronic wallet transaction command; the IC card reads the preset amount threshold that corresponds to the transaction of the transaction command; and according to the read transaction amount, the IC card determines compare amount, when the compare amount is not more than the preset amount threshold, the command is allowed to be executed for conducting transaction. As the command is only allowed to be executed for implementing transaction when the compare amount is not more than the preset amount threshold, errors during subsequent treatment process are avoided and therefore the process of electronic wallet / electronic passbook transaction is more perfect.
