The adhesive agent for the polarizing plate used for providing the transparent protection film on at least one surface of a polarization element is a resin solution containing a polyvinyl alcohol based resin, a crosslinking agent and a leveling agent containing a compound having an acetylene skeleton. The leveling agent is formulated at a ratio of 0.01-10 pts.wt. relative to 100 pts.wt. of the polyvinyl alcohol based resin.
