Abstract

The invention discloses a power supply control device. The device comprises a temperature sensor, a first voltage converter, an over-temperature protection unit, a reset unit and a second voltage converter. The temperature sensor is used for sensing measuring temperature and outputting a sensing signal. The first voltage converter is used for converting the power supply voltage of the computer system into first voltage. The over-temperature protection unit is used for receiving the first voltage and determining whether to output the first voltage according to the sensing signal. The reset unit is used for determining whether to generate a reset signal according to the level of the power supply voltage when receiving the first voltage from the over-temperature protection unit. The second voltage converter is used for generating an activation signal according to the reset signal so as to enable an embedded controller.
