Abstract

The invention discloses a method, a server and a system for configuring a femtocell access point paging group and a neighboring cell list. The method comprises that the configuration request of a security gateway or a femtocell access point (FAP) is received; the position information of the FAP is obtained; an access service network gateway (ASN-GW) to be accessed by the FAP is determined, the ASN-GW is informed of the position information of the FAP to enable the ASN-GW to allocate a paging group for the FAP according to the position information of the FAP and to release the allocated paging group identifier (PG ID); and the PG ID from the ASN GW is received and is released to the FAP. Through the embodiment of the invention, the FAP can be dynamically added into the paging group or the neighboring cell list can be dynamically upgraded.
