Abstract

The invention provides a fingerprint scanner which comprises a control module, an electrical connector, a plurality of LED indicators and a fingerprint scanning module, wherein the control module is used for detecting and controlling signal transmission; the electrical connector is coupled to the control module and used for connecting the fingerprint scanner to peripheral devices; the plurality of LED indicators are coupled to the control module and used for indicating an operational status of the fingerprint scanner; the fingerprint scanning module is coupled to the control module and used for detecting, sensing and touching fingerprints and transmitting a fingerprint signal and a touch signal to the control module; and the fingerprint scanning module comprises the touch sensor which is used for sensing different touches representative for different command signals.
