Abstract

The invention discloses a connector socket and portable electronic device applying the connector socket. The connector socket is arranged on the case and is used for connecting the connector. The connector socket comprises a rotating part and an elastic part. The rotating part is pivoted with the case. The elastic part is coupled with the case and the rotating part. The rotating part is provided with a projection. When the connector is connected with the connector socket, the connector is abutted against the projection, so that the rotating part is caused to automatically rotate to an opening position from a storing position. When the connecter is separated with the connector socket, the rotating part rotates to the storing position from the opening position by utilizing the elastic part.
