Abstract

The invention provides a device, a system and a method for automatically configuring an application terminal in a household network. The device comprises a GACS (Automatic Configuration Server of Household Gateway) and a household gateway. The system comprises a GACS, a household gateway and an application terminal. In the method, the application terminal obtains the address information of the GACS from the household gateway and transmits a configuration request message to the GACS; after receiving the configuration request message, the GACS obtains the address information of a TACS (Automatic Configuration Server of Application Terminal) by inquiring and transmits the address information of the TACS to the application terminal through a response message of the configuration request message; and the application terminal transmits the configuration request message to the TACS according to the address information of the TACS returned by the GACS and obtains configuration information from the TACS for automatic configuration. The invention ensures that the application terminal can safely obtain the address information of the ACS that the application terminal belongs to for configuration without increasing the complexity of the application terminal.
