Abstract

The invention relates to a method for preparing safe latex gloves, particularly to a method for preparing latex gloves free of nitrosamine. The method for preparing safe latex gloves of the invention comprises the processes of preparing latex, cleaning models, drying models, cleaning models, scouring process, soaking coagulating agent, drying, soaking latex, filtering, hot-water vulcanization and drying finished product. The aqueous solution in the hot-water vulcanization process comprises the following components in percentage by weight: 2 to 9% of glycerol, 1 to 3% of gel, 0.5 to 2% of cellulose, 2 to 9% of silicon dioxide, 0.05 to 5% of ethylene diamine tetraacetic acid, 0.02 to 2% of Tween 80, 1 to 30% of lauric acid, 2 to 3% of oleic alcohol, 2 to 7% of refined lanolin and the balance of softened water. In the latex gloves prepared according to the method of the invention, the residual amount of the N-nitrosamine of the nitrosamine is less than 0.01 mg/kg; therefore, the invention is safe and dependable to use and greatly reduces the cancer risk.
